Lawn Care Chart by Signature Landscape Care

The Signature Lawn Care program is based on continual balanced lawn feedings and a variety of seasonal treatments to target all of the turf issues that arise during the year. The seasonal services are a part of the Signature Lawn Care program and are included in the monthly cost.

Winter – In the winter, an application of lime will be applied to the lawn. This will help maintain the proper pH balance in the lawn. Although this does not kill moss, it does help to slow the growth of moss during the winter months.

Early spring – An early season moss control treatment will be performed. This treatment will kill any moss that has developed over the winter and will allow for a full turf base to develop. Along with the moss control, a crane fly control will be applied when crane fly is present. This will prevent the typical damage associated with the European Crane Fly.

Late spring – The late spring applications target the insect and disease issues that arise during this part of the season. During each visit, your area manager will customize the application to address any issues that may be present in your yard.

Summer – The summer applications focus on providing your lawn with an optimal level of fertilizer while treating your lawn for any broadleaf weeds that may be present.

Fall – As the grass starts to go dormant (as the growth of the grass begins to slow) for the winter, it is essential to provide the roots with the nutrients they need to develop over the winter. The fall feedings will set the stage for a healthy lawn in the spring.
